Navigating Repo Complexity

Any organization of any size will have products and codebases which have grown considerably

In some cases the codebases for the organization do not fall into well organized products

In our case we wanted to bring a product / codebase which had been successfully grown in a single business and uplift it so that it could scale to support multiple brands, businesses and be the backbone for additional products

To do this we needed to enable investment in the product, but to achieve that we needed to better understand what the product was, what it was composed of, and to deliberately shape it’s development, while it was supporting a major business
